Exposition au xénon des plastiques destinés à des applications intérieures ou extérieures (Weather-Ometer®) ASTM D2565, ASTM D4459, ASTM G155, ISO 4892

Micom offre des essais à l’arc au xénon pour simuler l’exposition du soleil, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur sur les finis de surface, les revêtements et les polymères. L’équipement utilisé pour faire ce genre de test est appellé un Weather-Ometer®️*. ASTM G155 est une méthode utilisée pour réaliser les essais à l’arc au xénon.  Toutefois, Il existe une panoplie de méthodes d’essai qui requièrent l’utilisation de l’arc au xénon.

Méthodes post-essai en lien avec l’arc au xénon

Une alternative à l’exposition à l’arc au xénon est la méthode ASTM G154 qui utilise une source lumineuse de nature différente. Pour plus d’information concernant les techniques alternatives, veuillez vous référer au lien suivant: Essais de Weathering accéléré.

Finalement, suite à l’exposition selon ASTM G155, différentes mesures peuvent être prélevées afin de quantifier l’impact du vieillissement: Voir Essais ASTM et Essais de matériaux pour plus d’information.
